The Rugby World Cup 2019 started off with excitement on Friday as Japan dominated Russia with a score of 30-10. Since then, there have been intense matches and some one-sided victories!
Australia and New Zealand’s all blacks both secured wins on Saturday, defeating Fiji and South Africa, respectively, by comfortable margins, setting a positive tone for the teams.
However, Scotland faced a setback in their morale after a crushing loss to Ireland on Sunday, being defeated 27-3. Meanwhile, England delivered a strong performance by beating Tonga 35-3 on the same day.
Wales will play their first match against Georgia on Monday, while Russia looks to bounce back against Samoa on Tuesday.
Thursday the 26th will be significant for North America as both Canada and the USA play their first matches. Canada will compete against Italy, who recently showcased a strong performance against Namibia. The USA will go head-to-head with England in a match sure to attract interest from fans on both sides of the Atlantic!
