The Los Angeles Lakers are having a tough start to their season, with zero wins in the first three games. Their latest loss was against the Portland Trail Blazers at home, intensifying the pressure from disappointed fans.

According to NBA insider Shams Charania from The Athletic, the Lakers are keen on bringing in Terry Rozier from the Charlotte Hornets to improve their struggling shooting performance.

Rozier has been performing exceptionally, averaging 19 points per game in his last 207 starts.

Terry Rozier was selected as the No. 16 overall pick by the Boston Celtics in the 2015 NBA Draft. During his four seasons with the Celtics, he played 272 games, starting in 30 of them, with an average of 7.7 points, 3.6 rebounds, and 2.3 assists per game.

In the first two games of the current season, Rozier has been outstanding, averaging 23.5 points, seven rebounds, and 8.5 assists per game.

In their recent game against Portland, the Lakers struggled with their three-point shooting, going 6-of-33 from beyond the arc. Acquiring Terry Rozier would significantly boost their shooting capabilities. The team lacks both shooting prowess and defensive strength around LeBron James and Anthony Davis, reflecting in their win-loss record.

After three games, the Lakers are shooting at a dismal 21.2 percent from the three-point range. While Russell Westbrook is not solely to blame, he contributes to the team’s challenges. It seems like a tough road ahead for the Lakers in the current season.
